... but they were won at darts competitions! The Llangwm R.F.C. darts team which in the late 60's swept the board in the Haverfordwest and District
League winning five cups and the Goldcrest Shield. The players:

"JONES OF LLANGWM"

Llangwm born Mr. Robert Jones (son of the late Reggie Jones), now a United States citizen, organised the Eastern R. U. of America 50th Anniversary Tour to Wales in September 1984 in his capacity as Secretary of the North American Rugby Union. Robert is seen here speaking at the after-match dinner when the American side played Llangwm on 8 September 1984.

 

Glyn Morgan Presentation

Mr. Glyn Morgan presents a miniature Llangwm fisherwoman doll as a momento of their visit to Llangwm, to Mr. Tom Selfridge, Manager of the Eastern Rugby Union Touring side. (Mr. Selfridge won four caps as an American Eagle).
